Pricing

How Shoogly
is priced.

A one-off build, then one flat monthly figure. Both are agreed on a 15-minute call once Jamie has seen how your enquiries come in, and neither is published here. The monthly is the same however many ways customers reach you.

Why isn’t the price on the page?

Because the build depends on what you already have and what needs connecting.

Your number, your website or a new one, WhatsApp, your Facebook and Instagram pages, your diary. Fifteen minutes on the phone is enough to see that and give you a straight figure. If your enquiry volume is too small for this to pay for itself, Jamie will say so on the call rather than quote.

What is included?

Every firm gets the same system; the price does not change with the number of channels you connect.

  • Missed-call text back. A missed call gets a text back asking what the customer needs, and their reply goes to the same agent as everything else.
  • Instant replies. Website form, text, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and chat on your site, answered within minutes in your voice, day or night.
  • Qualifying. The agent asks what the job is, where, when and for photos. It never prices or promises a date, and anything odd comes to you.
  • One inbox and one job board. Every conversation in one place. Every enquiry a card from new enquiry to job complete, with calls and quote visits going into your diary.
  • Reviews and referrals. A Google review request when the job is done, and a referral ask after it.
  • The numbers. Enquiries by source, booking rate, close rate and average job value, gone through on the check-in calls.
  • Set up and run by Shoogly. One app on your phone (HighLevel), a fortnight of building it with you, weekly check-ins to start and then monthly, and Jamie’s number.

A voice agent for the calls you can’t take is being set up as part of the same package. A website is a separate conversation: see websites for trades. The full flow is on the how it works page.

What are the terms?

Three months minimum, then 30 days’ notice, and the monthly does not start until the system is live and has handled a real enquiry.

  • Not happy in the first 60 days after go-live? You get back everything you have paid and you are free to go. The three-month minimum does not apply.
  • Nothing slips. For your first 90 days, if an enquiry reaches the system and is not on your phone, qualified, with a reply ready, inside five minutes, tell Jamie and that month is free.
  • Your monthly stays where it started. New channels added later are never a price rise for existing clients.

The terms page has the rest. Which channels are switched on for your firm is written down before any money moves.

The questions
about the money.

How much does an AI receptionist cost in the UK?

Shoogly's own price is a one-off build plus a flat monthly figure, agreed on a call once we've seen how your enquiries come in. We don't publish that number. Across the wider market, trades-focused AI receptionists publish £39 to £99 a month, with some tiers at £199 and above, and human answering services publish £45 to £400 a month plus call charges. Those are August 2026, ex-VAT, from the vendors' own pages, written up in the pricing guide. No long contract on our side: a three-month minimum on the monthly, then 30 days' notice, and a 60-day money-back guarantee on the build.

It sounds expensive for a small firm.

The honest way to judge it is against what slow replies already cost you, not against zero. One decent job covers months of it; our calculator will show you the leak in your own numbers, in pounds and in jobs. And if your enquiry volume is genuinely tiny, we'd rather say 'this is overkill for you just now' than take your money. That's not a line; qualifying out is cheaper than an unhappy client.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Not happy in the first 60 days after go-live? You get back everything you've paid and you're free to go, no questions; the three-month minimum doesn't apply. The monthly doesn't start until the system is live and has handled a real enquiry. And for your first 90 days, if an enquiry reaches the system and isn't on your phone, qualified, with a reply ready, inside five minutes, tell us and that month is free. We can carry that risk because the demo on your own enquiries means nobody signs up guessing.

Why you over a more established name?

A few honest reasons, and one honest trade-off. The reasons: almost everything established in this market answers the phone only, while our system treats written enquiries, which is where more and more work arrives, as the main event. You deal directly with the person who built the system, not an account manager. And there's no long contract: a three-month minimum, then 30 days' notice, and money-back on the build. The trade-off: we're young and we're not pretending otherwise, which is exactly why the first few firms get generous terms and the guarantee exists. The demo on your own enquiries is how we ask to be judged.

You talk to me, the person who built it. We look at how enquiries reach you today and I'll tell you straight whether this is worth it for your firm. Or go back to the short version.
