Who we are
Shoogly is James Sim, trading as Shoogly, based in Glasgow. For anything on this page, email jamie@shoogly.co.uk and you get Jamie, not a ticket queue.
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form collects your name, contact details and a few facts about your firm. It exists so we can reply to you and arrange a call. Nothing else is done with it.
Where it goes: our own private database, an email notification to Jamie, and our records system. We keep it while we might work together, we never sell it or pass it on, and if you want it gone, say so and it goes.
Talking to Amy, the voice demo
Amy is an AI voice agent and says so if you ask. When you press the microphone, your browser sends your voice to GoHighLevel, which turns it into text, works out a reply using OpenAI’s GPT model and speaks it back in an ElevenLabs voice.
The audio isn’t recorded. GoHighLevel keeps a written transcript and a short summary of the call in our account, under a contact record, and Jamie gets a notification. If you give your name and number, that’s how he rings you back. We keep it while we might work together, and if you want it gone, say so and it goes.
Two sensible notes: please keep passwords, financial details and anything sensitive out of the conversation, and if you would rather not talk to an AI at all, the booking link does the same job.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through GoHighLevel, which collects what it needs to put the meeting in both calendars. Their own privacy policy covers that part.
Analytics
We use basic visit statistics to see which pages get read. No advertising trackers, no selling your browsing to anyone.
The tools that touch your data
- Supabase: our private database for enquiries and older chat transcripts
- Resend: sends the enquiry notification emails
- Airtable: our records of enquiries
- Vercel: hosts the site and its visit statistics
- GoHighLevel: call booking, our customer records and the Amy voice demo
- OpenAI and ElevenLabs: the voice demo’s replies and voice, through GoHighLevel
- Google Analytics: page-level visit statistics, where enabled
Your rights
You can ask what we hold on you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, at any time. Email jamie@shoogly.co.uk and it gets handled promptly and without fuss. If we ever change how any of this works, this page changes the same day.
